Which Are The 8 Teams That Have Directly Qualified For World T20 2022?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a list of countries that will have direct access to the Super 12 stage of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

According to a statement issued by the ICC, the final names of the teams that will automatically reach the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia next year have come to light.

According to the announcement, 8 out of the 12 teams playing in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup this year have qualified for the Super 12 stage of next year's World Cup and they will not have to play a qualifying round to enter this stage.

The eight teams that have qualified for the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022 include hosts Australia, England, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

According to the ICC, the formula for automatic access to the Super 12 stage was the formula of the remaining 6 top teams in terms of rankings to be formed on November 15 after the final, including the World Cup winning team and runner-up.

After the defeat at the hands of Australia today, the winner of the last T20 World Cup has moved up to 10th position in the West Indies rankings and Bangladesh has secured its place in the Super 12 stage by coming at 8th position while Sri Lanka is at 9th position.

England is currently ranked No. 1 in the ICC T20 rankings, followed by Pakistan, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia, respectively. Not likely to come down.

In next year's T20 World Cup, West Indies and Sri Lanka will have to play Round One stage with Scotland and Namibia, the other two teams playing in the Super 12 stage of 2021, after which they will be able to qualify for the Super 12 stage.

Remember that the T20 World Cup was to be held in Australia in 2020, but it was postponed due to the Corona epidemic. Now, the postponed T20 World Cup will be held in Australia in 2022.
