Manchester City put Guardiola's renewal on track until 2025

The Catalan coach ends his contract in June 2023 and the club wants him to continue on the bench. The renewal agreement is expected to be formalized during next summer.

Pep Guardiola will renew with Manchester City until 2025. The coach ends his contract with the English entity in June 2023 and the club wants the former Barça player to continue managing the team, according to the 'Mirror'.

The Perfect Love Story

City considers Guardiola to be the ideal coach for their project and they want to give him continuity at the head of it to continue leading the Premier League - along with Liverpool - and raise the long-awaited Champions League that the Manchester club is resisting.

Although the Catalan coach wants to focus on the end of the season -even with the league title at stake- before talking about his future, his representative and brother Pere Guardiola has already held talks with City to lay the foundations for the agreement.

Another aspect that may influence Pep 's decision is the offensive that Manchester City will take for Erling Haaland  in the next transfer market, since the incorporation of the striker would allow him to make a leap in quality in the '9' position. According to the quoted medium, the Norwegian would see the option of being trained by Guardiola "too good to be rejected".

City is aware of how difficult it will be to hit the Catalan's future substitute, and although they have considered several options in the event that the situation turns 180°, at the Etihad Stadium they are clear that Guardiola is the best option for their dock. And Santpedor 's coach has always claimed to be very comfortable in Manchester.
