The Warriors managed to win by 16 points in the first quarter and went into the break with a +12, but the Celtics responded in the third quarter with a fabulous 4-19 that allowed them to take the lead for the first time in this fifth game.

However, Golden State reacted in the last minutes of the third quarter -including a spectacular triple over the buzzer by Jordan Poole- and hit the table in the final quarter (20-29) to certify their victory.

NBA history says that in series that go 2-2 into Game 4, the team that wins Game 5 ends up winning the tie 82% of the time. The sixth game of the Finals , which could be final if the Warriors win, will be played on Thursday in Boston (USA).

If a seventh game was needed to decide the champion, the Warriors and Celtics would face each other on Sunday in San Francisco (USA).
